Our services cover the management of intellectual property, from the identification of the right of protection to the estimate of the IP assets, considered as a strategic business asset and a lever of innovation for trademarks, designs, patents, software and know-how, also in the light of possible finance transactions and the use of tax benefits.
We support our clients in identifying the best strategy to protect their intellectual property aiming to protect the results of human inventiveness.
All this is supported by setting out contracts for IP exploitation together with anti-counterfeiting protection, particularly on the web with targeted takedowns and surveillance, in collaboration with IP firms and lawyers specialised in the field.
Patenting is the most common, but not always the most effective route: after defining the most efficient protection strategy, where suggested we support our clients in the patent application, namely:
- through problem solving and concept design techniques we define the patenting strategy, useful for expanding patent coverage
- we produce the draft patent application shared with the client
- we conduct prior art searches in the patent literature
